An open letter to the EU institutions regarding Rule of Law in the EU
Member States.
EU’s appeasement policy instead of actions against reactionary populist
forces in the EU Member States’ Governments
Ahead of the EU elections in May 2019.
As the EU does not provide information on the past voting pattern
(history of voting) of the MEPs we are not able to verify voting and
bring to accountability the EU parliamentarians.
In the view of the EU values and relation to the case described I am
asking the EU to review the implementation of the Rule of Law in
Austria. The elections to the EU parliament are approaching. We
envisage that the issue of implementation of the EU values is an
important criteria for the election of the members of the EU parliament.
èEU’s
democracy deficiencies
www.oureu.org/eu_deficiencies
are responsible for the shortcomings of the EU Member States in the area
of Rule of Law .
The legal system in Austria
Since years I follow the legal situation in Austria (like a habit to
sign election results without control), I have no confidence in the
Austrian legal system. The Rule of Law is poorly applied. The minister
says “The right must follow politics
… the legal constructions hinder actions”.
The case (Destruction of the Gardenius Botanical Garden )
www.gardenius.com
In 2011 I was offered a 20 years lease contract for a small garden
house, with the surrounding garden by the managers of the Wunderer
Trust,
Rule of the Law and the role of the landlords lawyer firm
Wurst & Ströck Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft
Due to the negligence and lack of actions from the authorities I get
impression I am to stack in the situation where the human rights are
ignored and the current Austrian Government is questioning the
applicability of the Human Rights convention.
During the demolition work the electric power was stolen and I am
monthly charged for the lift which is not in our one-level bungalow.
After removal of the veranda by the landlord part my items have been put
under a tent which is now blown away and items such as hi-fi and other
items are exposed to the rain and snow.
The EU and the national authorities are tolerating the current state.
The whole history of the house and related constructions around our
house since 1996 are good example how the European Union fails to
protect not only migrants but now also the EU citizens.
déjà vu?
